25 year old Singer-songwriter Liz Bissonette from Lansing, MI recognized the strength in her voice and the weight her words can carry at a young age. Growing up being a big fan of other singer-songwriters such as Taylor Swift, Carole King, and Joni Mitchell, she honed in on her passion for songwriting and composing music. She began writing songs on her bedroom floor with her guitar, and a blue fuzzy journal. Liz had big dreams of writing and releasing her own songs as she continued to work hard on her craft. She released her first single titled “Nice To Meet You” in the fall of 2015. Liz released her first EP titled “I Wish We Never Met” which includes 5 heart-wrenching songs in 2021. Being unapologetically herself, Liz poured her heart and soul into this body of work. She took the reins on producing “Cheated” as she wanted to jump in and encapsulate how the song physically made her feel. She doesn’t mind that the songs have a melancholy feeling as they all come from a real and raw place. Outside of her three-minute and thirty-second songs, Liz continues to share her heart with her audience, always stressing to “never trade your honesty for relatability.” Liz loves connecting with those who yearn to truly feel, and is constantly writing and working on new music. She plans to release more in 2022.
