SUKIHANA Rapper, social media sensation and reality TV personality Sukihana (@sukihanagoat) isn’t just hip hop’s fastest rising star— she’s poised for an all-out takeover. The Wilmington, Delaware native has lived many lives— and she has the multifaceted talent and no-holds-barred attitude to prove it. “I wrote my first rap at six years old,” Suki says. “After that, people would pay me to rap for them.” Inspired by artists like the late Tupac Shakur, Rick Ross, Lil’ Kim, and Lauryn Hill, it was clear that Suki was bound for hip-hop greatness from an early age—even if she didn’t know it at the time. Today, she’s not only earning accolades from rap’s biggest names (including Cardi B, among others)— she’s securing her own place among hip-hop’s heavyweights. With a staggering 1.3 million Instagram followers, Suki’s bold, brash brand of authenticity has not only struck a chord—but sparked a movement. Through video shorts and Instagram clips, Suki built an organic following from fans eager to embrace an individual whose personality was as strong as her rhymes…And it certainly helped that her aesthetic was also dynamic with bright colors and gangsta-leaning couture, almost the visual embodiment of her creative output. “I’m real,” she says matter-of-factly. “I’m a little ghetto fabulous; I come from a different place and I’ve got children. I’m a little bit different, and I’ve got a whole other story to tell.”
