Hitkidd was born Anthony Lorenzo Holmes, Jr. in 1995. He was making beats by age 14 and never looked back, expanding his passion for music from a hobby to a more substantial career by crafting instrumentals for Duke Deuce, Co Cash, Clay “Kruical” Perry III, BlocBoy JB, and other Memphis rappers. While working primarily as a producer, Hitkidd also released artist mixtapes of his own like 2018's Mastermind, 2019's Masterplan, and 2020's Hitkidd for President: 2020. His reputation as an imaginative producer led to higher-profile clients, and he was eventually making tracks for big-name artists like Lil Uzi Vert, Baby Tate, ASAP Rocky, Doe Boy, and others. Hitkidd produced several songs on mainstream superstar Megan Thee Stallion's 2021 compilation album “Something for Thee Hotties” . In 2022, he scored his first viral hit with the booming beat for "F.N.F. (Let's Go)." The anthemic, party-ready track came out in late April of 2022 through Hitkidd’s label Campsouth Records and had been streamed millions of times within a few weeks of its release. The accompanying Hitkidd directed and produced video was viewed over 30 million times in the same short time span.
