Mike Myz was captured by hip-hop at eight years old. Sitting in the closet hiding from mom, with a boom box loaded with a blank cassette tape, he would record his favorites over the radio. 
 
 Myz starting writing and recording hiphop music in high school with a friend on his mixtape. They recording the whole project over late summer nights in the basement. He then began crafting his own work. 
 After a bad break up and struggle with alcohol, Myz put out his first 15 track project titled “Love Battles.” His writing was filled with pain and heartache as he wove each track together, but the mixtape ended on a high note with a song reflecting on God’s goodness. 
 Myz gave his life to Jesus January 5th, 2011 and decided to give up music. But in March of the same year, he heard the voice of God speak, “Mike, you can make music for Me and My glory.” Myz picked up the pad again and began writing for the Glory of God and His Kingdom.
