Lift The Curse is an American rock duo hailing from Texas. Harnessing a chemistry that’s crossed the chasm of rock, metal and country, Lift The Curse is the culmination of an eight year collaboration between two best friends on a mission to melt your core. Jon Yadon Jr. and Ryan Hegefeld fuse hard rock, filthy breakdowns and nonstop melodies that will keep you up at night. Having found their niche as two thirds of their former band TrineATX - playing with the likes of Fuel, Hinder and Powerman 5000 - they would eventually test the waters as a duo with their country side project, Black Star Sunset, and evolve their sound to the next level. Fast forward to April 2022 and Lift The Curse was born as they released their first single “Rise With The Flames”. Songwriting is at the forefront of Jon and Ryan’s musical philosophy and the pair have found a conducive balance in co-writing their songs. Typically, Ryan performs vocals, guitar, piano and drum pieces while Jon supplies guitar, bass and auxiliary vocals. Blending elements of alt-rock choruses, head banging riffs, ripping solos, melodic harmonies, and a library of visually captivating music videos, Lift The Curse has only just begun. They have 9 singles out to date with new songs releasing monthly, and their first full length album due out in 2023. Also, Lift The Curse hits the live stage November 13th at Come & Take It Live in Austin, Texas.
