A combination of sass and savoir-faire culled from her years on stage allowed her to produce pieces that reflected her musical identity – a youthful, contemporary sound like something you’d hear in a filmscore. She draws influence from artists like Shirley Bassey, Nancy Sinatra, B.B. King, the Jackson 5, Aretha Franklin and Al Green, but adds her own creative twist; the result is a blend of her own perspective with an infusion of the classics, leading to an unmistakable sound.
