Singer, Songwriter, Marine Vet... Tyler Jay served in the United States Marine Corps from Jan 2005 - Jan 2009. During his time overseas (Iraq), he was fortunate enough to find a guitar and learn how to play. Fans have been begging for an album ever since Tyler gained popularity on YouTube 13 years ago with his viral, impromptu video recording of his EAS Song about getting out of The Marine Corps. Tennessee Home is the third single in a series of planned releases from the forthcoming 10-song record by Tyler Jay. Tyler, a master recording engineer himself, has teamed up with fellow vet and Producer, Donnie Reis, to record his album live, in studio, at Twelve 3 South Recording in Nashville, TN. Life in the Marines, especially deployed life, can be difficult to imagine. There is far too little music speaking to veterans and truly capturing those feelings. It is out of this deficit Tyler says, "I aim to reach out to those in need of a little entertainment, relate to other Vets, and from time to time provide a little comic relief through music."
