    The indie punk five-piece Element 101 hails from New Jersey and molds their own brandish scale of punk rock, reminiscent of Elvis Costello, Letters to Cleo, the Go-Go's, All, and the Descendents. Signed to Tooth & Nail Records, Element 101 is comprised of vocalist Crissie Verhagen, guitarists Chris Mizzone and Danny Papa, bassist Sal Ciaravino, and drummer Nick Acocella. They issued their debut Future Plans Undecided in spring 2000. Stereo Girl followed in early 2001. By the time Element 101 prepped for their third album, they'd reach a new musical level.
