LA Times noted "[Kenan Bell] has captured the fancy of L.A. crowds with his spry melodies and sprightly wordplay, thanks in part to a live lineup that includes the likes of guitarist Josh Klinghoffer (Red Hot Chili Peppers, PJ Harvey) and drummer Eric Gardner (Gnarls Barkley, Cypress Hill). “Good Day” included B-side “T.G.I.F” featuring Freestyle Fellowship's Aceyalone, who has performed the track with Kenan on occasion, including an appearance at SXSW. Opening for legendary alternative hip hop artists such as Kool Keith, Dizzee Rascal and Del The Funky Homosapien and touring nationally with De La Soul, RJD2, and People Under The Stairs, Bell quickly developed into a seasoned performer. Solo tour dates in the UK included performances at KOKO, BBC, NME, and Club Yoyo in Notting Hills, opening for Diplo. "Like This" was on the NBA2k10 video game soundtrack. January 2011 saw the release of "31 Flavors", 31 songs, one song for each day of the month. Later that year, he dropped the 3 volume mixtape, "Summer Solstice", a seasonal celebration, which included the track "Book Of The Month" featuring Ayomari of TiRon & Ayomari. "Uzi Water Gun" was described by Pitchfork as "what I imagine a lot of college kids thought the future sounded like after Arular dropped". Nevertheless it was a standout track on The Hood Internet's FEAT alongside highly respected MCs Donwill, Cadence Weapon, and Psalm One. 2018's "The Greater Good" EPs included "Hi" "HOWL! (Remix)" and "Above".
