SGV vibes was founded in April 2017, by a group of coworkers, Edward Saucedo(keyboardist), William Blancas (bassist), Jonathan Hernandez (frontman) and Fernando Aguilar (manager/percussion). After a long day at work, we would get together and jam out and cover a few songs by sublime, tribal seeds and Rebelution. Soon after, we began creating our own original music and began to dip our toes into the socal reggae scene. Fabian Avila (drummer) and Anthony Martinez (lead guitar) joined early 2019 and together we began working on our debut album titled “Trust in me” released November that year. When you hear about the underground music scene in San Gabriel valley, normally its punk, Ska and indie rock among others but not necessarily reggae. With the help of our underground music friends, we did a few backyard gigs and gave us some popularity. Our sound is a blend of roots, Rock, reggae, Latin roots, r&b, soul and contagious lyrics of freedom, love, positivity and good vibes.
