Mournful Lines - Alternative Northern Melancholy Mournful Lines was formed early 2013 in Oulu, Finland. With long and determined work the band has found its own unique sound that consists of smashing keyboards, catchy riffs and choruses, symphonic and pop elements mixed with overall melancholic atmosphere. Despite heavier music being the foundation of Mournful Lines' music, it is not easy to put the band in one specific genre. The bands characteristic sound also consists of two lead vocalists whose heart-rendingly emotional storytelling is something you have to experience yourself. Lyrics revolve around suicidal thoughts, love, hate, depression and other mental health issues etc. The stories behind the lyrics are even more powerful because they are based on true events.
