An anti-racist skinhead Oi! band from Plauen, Germany, Loikaemie formed in 1994, and began releasing EPs almost immediately. Their initial release, a 1995 demo EP, was quickly followed by an album release, Ihr für uns und wir für euch in 1996. The band went on to release a few more EPs from 1997 until 1998, including a couple of splits with Smegma and Menace, before finally surfacing on the full-length radar again with 2000's Wir sind die Skins. 2005 saw the band release both the CD and DVD 10 Jahre Power from the Eastside. Members Thomas (vocals and guitar), Eddie (bass), and Paul (drums) released a self titled album in 2007, while continuing to dispel the myth that all skinheads are racist thugs. ~ Chris True, Rovi
