Orenda (Орендъ in Bulgarian) is a music project from Bulgaria which aims to recreate some favourite Bulgarian folk songs in metal arrangements. Founder of the project and composer of most of the arrangements is Petar Stoyanov (vocals and bass guitar). Katerino mome was the first released song back in 2017. The rest of the arrangements for the debut album MAKSUL were created and recorded in the following years. The album will be released in the fall of 2020. The people who took part in it and contributed to its creation are Nikolay Kostadinov (keyboards and backing vocals), Vladimir Voloshchuk (rhythm and acoustic guitar), Simeon Minchev (solo guitar), Krasimir Zafirov (solo guitar), Ivaylo Ninchev (classic guitar), Xu Ning (saxophone), Teodor Chirpanliev (drums), Boil Karaneychev (backing vocals), Daniel Matarov (programming), Svetlin Zhelyazkov (editing, mixing and mastering), Kristiyan Nikolov (photography and album artwork).
