Maintain is a German Metalcore band from Lower Saxony, formed in 1998. They have released one Split CD and six studio albums. Through the years the band played countless shows in Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium and Sweden. They supported various bands including As I Lay Dying, Killswitch Engage, Korn, Caliban, Neaera and many others on their European tours. Maintain was a supporting act for the Taste of Chaos Tour, Persistence Tour and played many headlining shows as well as various festivals like the Reload Festival, Pressure Festival and many more. 
 Maintain contributed a song to both the soundtrack of the German movie „Lauf der Dinge“ as well as to the soundtrack of the Canadian TV series „Todd and the Book of Pure Evil“. Their latest release „The Path“, which was published by Swell Creek Records in 2013, was followed by changes in the bands line-up, so they played their last show in 2015 and went on a hiatus. 
 In 2020/2021, under a new line-up, the band is working on new music and will be playing shows in 2022.
