TAMTRUM Split Up in October 2012. Here's the Statement published on 25th December 2011 : "Benoit and Sylvicious have formed this band together in January 2K3. We are Über proud of the path we did. TAMTRUM had always been Fun, and the idea at the very begining was just to do some tunes and we didn't even though bout' doing any live shows. Today here we are, 9 filthy years and almost 170 gigs later... We did two Russian tour, we had shared the bill with Slash on Hellfest, Slayer at Arvika Fest, Front 242 at WGT or even more recently some shows with KMFDM. We performed more than 10 countries in Europe, released 3 full lenght albums + 1 split album with Lok-8, but anyway we feel that we are in the top-end of the project and we think this can't blow you no more. Doing a new record wouldn't be sincere and we are not anymore in this rythm type of life. Both of us, Benoit and I, have changed in our minds... Making a new record together would not leeds to something the fans would expected for.For us a band like TAMTRUM should not live more than 9 years (remember 9 lives) and for the respect of our fans we're ending this adventure. We shared a lot of fun with you all. Remember what God used to say : « It's better to burn out than to fade away » FUCKING SEX, FUCKING DRUGS AND FUCKING RNR !"
