2023 heralds the release of a debut album for the London alt-folk rock singer-songwriter. Supported by BBC Radio London, the first track The Basement was produced by Ian Barter, Amy Winehouse's former guitarist and musical director. Other songs produced by modern classical composer Jay Chakravorty, Shuta Shinoda an award-winning mixing engineer, who has worked with artists nominated for the Mercury Music Prize. Also features internationally acclaimed virtuoso cellist Jo Quail. 2022 saw the release of Seagulls EP and 2021 the self-titled Art Block Extended Play by the London singer-songwriter teaming up again with Ian Barter (Dermot Kennedy, Paloma Faith). Two songs feature long term collaborator, violinist, Maria Kroon. The previous "The Basement EP" was curated by the sound archives of the British Library and featured on Amazing Radio. The vinyl is available on transparent violet at Rough Trade East and other independent record stores around the UK. In 2019 Art released an acoustic album, recorded in a day at The Premises studio, Hackney and mastered by Pete Maher (U2 Pixies Jack White Newton Faulkner) The folk guitarist Ben Walker produced his 'Borderline EP' which was released to critical acclaim. Eliza EP was released in 2018. The music video of the title track "Eliza" has been played on Sky TV Keep it Country on the Folk Show.
