2009年Sony Musicよりメジャーデビュー。 Stand Up For Loveがフジテレビ系ドラマ「逃亡弁護士」の主題歌に起用。 映画「君の名は。」で話題のアニメーション作家、新海誠の短編映画「だれかのまなざし」への主題歌提供や、『京都 国民文化祭 2011』開会式セレモニーにて、前の皇太子殿下(現天皇陛下)の前で歌声を披露する。 その後、所属事務所を離れてフリーランスに転身し、京都を中心に活動中。 2017年、2nd mini album「Will」をリリース。 さらに、今一度 歌唱力を磨くために渡米、NYにて路上LiveやOpen Micなどに挑戦し、盛況を得て異例のケーブルTV出演、Radio出演を果たす。 2018年に初のカバーアルバム、自身3枚目となるオリジナルアルバムを続けてリリース。 2019年７月デビュー10周年を迎える。 2020年4月よりエフエム京都α-stationにて自身の番組「Thirty Note」をスタート Kazusa is a singer from Japan, born in Kyoto. Her father is a Japanese drummer, and her mother a Nagauta performer who plays the Shamisen. She began composing music while in High School, and started singing at local music venue's around her hometown. Eventually, Sony Music gave Kazusa a record deal, and at the age of 19 she began her professional singing career. She moved to Tokyo and began working on her debut album, Aitakute. During her time with Sony Music Kazusa had a collaboration with famous Animation Director, Makoto Shinkai. Kazusa performed all over Japan, and was even a message singer for Japan's National Cultural Festival, where she showcased her singing ability in front of the Crown Prince.
