UK based producer and DJ, Sophie Sugar, has been at the heart of the international trance scene since 2005 when her uplifting, melodic sound first came to light in the widely acclaimed release 'Call of Tomorrow'. As further productions followed, Sophie's signature sound rapidly became known globally. In 2008, she was signed to Armin Van Buuren's Armada label. With hits such as 'Fallen Too Far', 'Together', 'Redemption', 'All For You', 'Arlanda', 'Skyline' and many more on ASOT, Sophie soon became known to many as 'The First Lady of Trance'. Sophie took her uplifting sounds around the globe touring countries including Belgium, Estonia, Ibiza, Sweden, The Netherlands, Norway, Italy, Greece, Egypt, Malta, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Morocco, the US, Canada, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, China, Hong Kong, Argentina and more. Between events, she released her 'Symphony' podcast - bringing her uplifting sound to hundreds of thousands around the world every month. Sophie has lived and breathed music from a very young age, having played the piano and collected records from the age of 6. Strongly influenced by composers such as John Williams and Hans Zimmer and inspired by the wonder of the universe around us, Sophie believes that music is life and life is music.
