What started out as a budding song collaboration between two like-minded individuals has blossomed into Cebu's most sought after in the music scene. Mandaue Nights, a duo composed of Karl Lucente (guitars, vocals) and Gino Rosales (synths, vocals) is very well on their way in breaking into the public limelight and paving a new landscape for the Cebuano music scene. 
 Coming from two different musical backgrounds and many a seasoned musical groups in the local scene (Boy Elroy and Shuffled for Gino, Honeydrop and Hey! It's Your Birthday for Karl), their own brand of music as a duo took a different flight -- mainly informed by a lot of 80s synth pop and pinoy alternative rock. 
 Fresh from its conception last July 2017, the band has went on to perform their debut gig during 2017's Visayan Pop Festival (VisPop). Then a slew of gigs fell on their laps afterwards. 
 Their debut single "You & I" is a testament to a relatively young band set on exploring and making their own contemporary take out of a music inspired from a bygone era bookended by synthesizer-heavy hooks and weird hairdos. The duo is set to release their first EP "Love City" in April 2018.
