Ru AREYOU is a multi-faceted LA based/Sacramento born Filipino-American artist/producer/martial arts tricker/dancer known for his production, melodic bangers, & visceral performances. Some of Ru AREYOU’s key music inspirations include: N.E.R.D, Pharrell Williams, J Dilla, & Kanye West. Rooted by his brand REALIZEYOU’s mission — Ru AREYOU’s sound is always evolving through the ‘infinite recreation of self’— while genre-bending through a mix of hip hop, lofi, hyphy, trap, R&B, future soul, punk, electronic, & pop. He is also the co-founder & leader of Awesome AWESOME SHXT, an artist collective. Bringing the same energy from 2022's “Pop Out” & “Favorite (feat. Duckwrth), Ru AREYOU’s latest release, “Slow & Steady” is the 3rd single from his upcoming 2023 mixtape “WHOLE TIME” following the "WHOLE TIME" and "Cook Up Hour."
