Hailing from a small town outside Drogheda and now in Belfast, Alicia Raye is an iconic singer, songwriter, rapper and activist. Known for breaking barriers, Alicia released debut mixtape Alphabet landing #1 on ITunes Hip Hop charts and #2 Album charts. The mixtape gained massive traction and support from Irish publications and DSP’s. RTE Choice Awards 2023 nominated track of the year ‘No Love’ by Sello is one of the few tracks Alicia co-wrote. 
 The Raye of sunshine has been seen across many platforms including RTE, BBC, Nialler9 , Hot Press, District Magazine and The Independent as cover girl sharing her experience with music in direct provision. Alicia Raye was also on the cover of Spotify’s editorial playlist “The New Éire”, showing the impact her music has on the Urban genre landing placements on New Music Friday UK, Afro Bashment, Who We Be and The New Eire. With the success of the hit drill single Nobody 2.0 funded by Belfast City Arts Council, Alicia continues experimenting with her sound.
