Paragraf 119 was born on the stonepaved streets of the Copenhagen part of town called Nørrebro. A part of town notoriously known for rebellion and struggling for workers rights, antifascists fighting the nazis during WW2 and continously keeping the streets free of nazi scum up to this day. The international women’s day the 8’th of march, was proclaimed on the stairs of the old Workers House on Jagtvej 69, later to be handed over to the Squatter Brigade in 1982. All the fighting spirit and antifascist sentiment of the Streets, is to be found in the mindset of Paragraf 119. But as locally anchored the band was, they also reached out internationally. From the first show at a local demonstration in Copenhagen against the seling of Ungdomshuset Jagtvej 69, to the last show at Kultur Schock Festival in Hellersdorf Berlin, the played and made friends and allied in Sweden, Norway, Poland, Germany, Chech Rep., Belgium, Netherlands, France, Italy and of course in all the squats, outhouses and small venues of Denmark. Fuck borders and nationalism, these are just geographic terms to us. The music is put out on the streaming services through AutoTünes Records, run by members of the band Follow us on Instagram for info on following releases https://www.instagram.com/autotunesrecords/
