DoorBrekers Worship is the music ministry of DoorBrekers, a contemporary church in the Netherlands. DoorBrekers Worship produced and released their first two singles in 2017, Mijn Hoop Is Zeker (translated: My hope is sure) and Ik Ben Geen Zondaar (translated: I’m not a sinner). In 2018 DoorBrekers Worship released her first album YHWH containing 11 Dutch and English worshipsongs. DoorBrekers was founded as a Church by pastors Peter and Ilona Paauwe in 2005. Starting in Barneveld with forty adults and forty children, DoorBrekers currently has over 2,000 people attending their weekly services in Barneveld, Amersfoort, Zeeland, Zwolle and Drechtsteden. DoorBrekers means ‘people who breakthrough’, from the Scripture Micah 2:12-13, which is the prophetic Word the church was built on: “I will bring them together like sheep in a fold, like a flock in the midst of their pasture. They shall swarm with men and hum with much noise. The Breaker (the Messiah) will go up before them. They will break through, pass in through the gate and go out through it, and their King will pass on before them, the Lord at their head.” In 2016 DoorBrekers built an multifunctional event centre: the Midden Nederland Hallen in Barneveld. This building has two scalable auditoriums, one seating up to 2,500 people and one up to 350 people, many break-out rooms, a large foyer, a café and office space. During the week the building is rented out for business events, on Sundays they use it for Church services.
