La Orquesta Vulgar was born in October 2009 inside the monstrous City of Mexico. La Orquesta began as an escape valve for the musicians in the band, in search of portraying our passion for music and life. Combining genres like jazz, funk, swing, R&B, afrobeat, Latin rhythms, etc. The name of the band, just like its sound has it’s root in the conception of “vulgo”. Which make La Orquesta what it is, the authenticity of our project, the flavor within the music and motive: make music to be sheared without boundaries and listened by everyone. La Víctima del Caníbal is the first LP of the band, premiered in 2015 at the “Museo Nacional de las Culturas Populares”. An effort made with our own flesh and bones.
