VINTERSEA is a melodic metal band from Oregon's Willamette Valley. Combining the essential elements of metal’s most revered sub-genres with memorable and anthemic song-writing sensibility, VINTERSEA has crafted a unique brand of crushing, blackened progressive metal inspired by the darkened skies of the Pacific Northwest. Since forming in 2017, VINTERSEA has opened for world-wide touring acts including JINJER, NE OBLIVISCARIS, FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE, THE OCEAN COLLECTIVE, and ARKONA. Building a strong fan-base regionally has resulted in dozens of sold out concerts and several multi-state tours, all while cultivating a rabid global audience of tens of thousands through the utilization of social media. In late 2019, VINTERSEA signed a world-wide record deal with M-Theory Audio, and released their sophomore album, “Illuminated”. On the back of the success of “Illuminated”, which garnered millions of music video views and countless positive reviews, VINTERSEA partnered with Jeff Keller Management and Continental Touring to bring their music to a wider audience in anticipation of a new full-length record due in 2023. With their eyes set firmly on global touring and creating epic visuals to accompany their music, VINTERSEA is poised to represent the vibrant and strong music scene of the Pacific Northwest on a global scale.
