Success is when preparation meets opportunity and mega-artist/producer, MoThoro, embodies just that. The 23 year old L.A. native has music and artistry in his blood. Growing up, Thoro always had musical influences around him. He soaked up game from his father who used to write and perform his own music under the name "Real Thorough". His father’s influence was so strong, it inspired the creation of his name: “MoThoro”. After taking interest in producing, writing and performing in elementary school, MoThoro’s skill set grew rapidly. So much so that by the time he was in high school one of his freestyle videos featured on WorldstarHipHop's “Youth Talent of the Week". With the gleam of motivation and passion in his eyes, he teamed up with his childhood friend, Rasual, and formed the duo MnR. The duo became unstoppable with their innovation and dedication. MoThoro credits both their chemistry and friendship with the development of his skills as both a rapper and producer. His ability to create beats for himself instilled a sense of independence and self-sufficiency, giving him full creative freedom to explore his own sound, especially upon graduating high-school and attending college. That freedom was pivotal in his growth and resulted in a creative treasure trove: his signature solo ThoroLyfe album trilogy. MoThoro has since co-founded an independent record label called LFTFLD alongside Rasual. Listen here to his latest drops to date.
