The Sketches is a sufi/folk rock band from Jamshoro, Sindh, created by veteran musician Saif Samejo. Their music is highly inspired by Sindhi language, tradition and culture. Some of their tracks which have enraptured the audiences domestically and internationally include, Nind Nashay Vich, Faani Aur Baqa, Raat, and Meena. The band consists of Saif Samejo on vocals, Nomi Ali on guitars/piano and have been featured multiple times in Coke Studio to which their performances have been met to critical acclaim. The Sketches have released three studio albums: Dastkari (2010), You (2016) and Saanjhi (2019), and multiple singles in their discography since 2010. The Sketches music is officially managed, distributed and licensed to Rearts Pvt. Ltd. imprint label rearts records worldwide exclusively.
