 Swedish/Ethiopian artist, songwriter, producer BISHAT has with only a handful of releases already been recognised as one of the most exciting new artists; her R&B-influenced pop sound familiar yet all her own. A true DIY artist in every sense, she’s been putting out her music independently & she's already been awarded titles like “Best New Artist” & “One’s to watch” by Complex, Highsnobiety & Clash Magazine. Her music has been played on radio both in Sweden and internationally with early support from BBC Introducing. Bishat also pens songs for other artists and one of her latest cuts was for Sweden’s bid in Eurovision Song Contest. Cazzi Opeia’s platinum record “I Can’t Get Enough” didn’t win but charted top 5 on Spotify Top 50. Previous single MANNERS and upcoming single PROBLEMS garnered her a nomination for DENNIZ POP AWARDS, a prestigious award with a jury including Max Martin & Tove Lo, honouring future international stars to carry on the Swedish pop legacy.
