London based Lightcliffe, who formed in the winter of 2015, bring together the perfect mix of early 90s alt-rock nostalgia with the fresh and dynamic sounds of the modern emo revival - amalgamating their influences and developing them further to create a unique yet familiar sound. Through the release of their first slew of impossibly catchy singles and constant touring across the UK and Europe, they've quickly become front-runners of the UK's burgeoning Underground DIY Scene. Focussing their efforts into a cohesive release; expanding on their recognisable sound - haunting, alluring melodies, punchy drum parts, rock-solid bass lines and beautifully intricate lead lines - the band arrived at "For A While" the group's debut EP. Released at the tail end of 2017 on Failure By Design Records, the release of the record saw the band soar further into the hearts of listeners old and new - gaining them BBC Radio 1 plays and selling out their London launch show in the process. 2018 will see Lightcliffe continue to ascend and reach new places, both sonically and on the map.
