    After the ten-year international success of their former band, There for Tomorrow, singer and instrumentalist Maika Maile and drummer Chris Kamrada have teamed up for their new project, AFTRHR. Taking a forward, alternative approach to the electronic pop world, the duo’s debut EP, Closing In, features innovative production with fresh, vibrant tracks that emulate and expand the cutting edge of modern sound. 
 While the two visionary minds behind Closing In excel as masters of their individual crafts—Maile as a career producer and Kamrada as drummer for Dashboard Confessional—AFTRHR blends the expertise of both as they formulate dynamic, ethereal soundscapes that span several genres. Transcendent in style, Closing In, pushes music in a futuristic direction, combining catchy, inventive tracks with profound, timely lyrics.
