SASHA SATHYA es MC, compositora, beatmaker, rapera y productora musical argentina original de Barrio Los Vascos, Merlo. Comenzó su trayectoria musical solista en 2013, emergiendo en la escena local underground transfeminista y posteriormente realizando presentaciones a nivel nacional y en otros países como Uruguay, España, Portugal y Perú. Con 2 álbumes publicados - ReBeba MiXXXtape (2019) y L4 N1374 D3 L4 51RV13N74 (2021) -, sus canciones combinan elementos de Hip Hop, Trap, Dancehall, Cumbia RKT y Reggaeton. SASHA SATHYA ​is an Argentine transgender rapper, artist, musician, songwriter and producer. Born and raised in the Greater Buenos Aires suburbs, she emerged in the local underground art scene -being the only trans female urban music artist at the time- and performed since 2014 to present at festivals in South America and Europe. With 2 self-produced released records, her work assembles pieces of urban music such as Trap, Cumbia, R&B, Dancehall, Reggaeton and RKT. Her lyrics have a political approach on themes like the everyday violence towards trans-females lives in the suburbs, lesbian relationship struggles, drug-dealing, living with psychiatric diagnosis, an insight of social class problem in music industry and the autonomous sex worker’s rights. The artist was featured in the Argentine and Internacional awarded documentary film “Una banda de chicas” (A Girl’s Band) and collaborated with Argentine artist Sara Hebe in the track “:•: A.C.A.B.” in 2019
