Housecat all met on a blind date. Although they were nervous going in, it actually went really well. Conversation flowed, there were no awkward pauses, and they landed every joke they made. When the check came, they all offered to pay. 
 And they have so much in common! 
 They're from Somerville MA, they share a love for groovy, emotive music, and they brought their eclectic stylings from the practice rooms of Tufts University to sold-out shows and house parties, serving up an evocative blend of pop, r&b, and soul that is actually scientifically proven to have everyone– friends, enemies, and lovers– dancing the night away. 
 They feel really good about it and definitely want a second date but aren't sure whether to reach out first or wait to be asked. 
 Their fourth release, titled "Stardust," began streaming in December 2020.
