Fredericktown, MO is a small Midwest town you probably haven't heard of that is the birth place to American singer-songwriter Brett Seper. "I come from a place where few people make it out of. Most people are born here and stay settled here," says Brett Seper. Recently Brett has taken the jump and moved to Nashville and is putting all his eggs in one basket. He believes his work ethic and musicianship reflect a desire to go higher than what his small town has to offer. Brett learned how to play the guitar from his grandfather, who introduced him to music when he was a child. Brett's grandfather loved to watch Brett play and sing, but he passed away recently. However, Brett continues to make his grandpa proud by writing and performing his music. Notable past performances include The Analog in Nashville, where Brett performed a one-hour set for a few hundred people. "Brett Seper is a small town guy from Missouri with a unique style of writing and singing. He is loved by many in this area," says DailyJournalOnline editor Alan Kopitsky.
