Influenced by a broad range of electronic music genres from house, deep house and techno to disco and world music, he created his very own style. Arrangements of spherical melodies and edgy elements, combined with oriental influences from his home country and various percussions, he is expressing his thoughts and emotions through analog synthesizers, drum machines, bass guitar and even his own voice. Ran is also a live artist who builds and crafts his own unique instruments and perform with them in a fresh and exciting way. Over the years, Ran has gained great support from Solomun, Agents of Time, Fur Coat, Innellea, Nick Warren and many more. In 2014 Ran joined Berlin based label Steyoyoke, with his ‘Fractured Memories’ EP. Ever since, Ran Salman has been consistently releasing under Steyoyoke / Steyoyoke Black label, Einmusika, Atlant and Radikon. in 2018 he joined BOg’s imprint ‘ATLANT Recordings’ with his EP ‘Through The Woods’ which gained a lot of support in the Tribal / Afro House scene, hitting the Beatport chart at #3. Currently Ran is working on building new instruments for his live shows and perform live acts and DJ sets around the world.
