Forced by the energy from the punk movement Kai Martin & Stick! started 1th April in 1978 soon to realise that punk uniform was to tight. 1979 the enthusiastic first three track single was released. In 1980 the band made there album debut ("Biomusik"), where released on Stranded's compilation album "Popjob" and made there second single "Måndag, måndag". The breakthrough came in 1981 with the single "Man skall vara som ett vilddjur i år" and 1982 the best selling album "Röd Plåt" saw it's daylight. After another two albums ("Simmarna" 1983 and "Uppståndelse!" 1985) Kai Martin & Stick! quit the music business. But in 2013 the group made its comeback and in 2016 the master piece "Utan titel" was produced and released. The masters of Swedish post punk is still alive. Photo: Helené Furness
