Donata is an award-winning singer-songwriter and producer from Berlin, releasing her magical debut album “Imaginary Land” via Humming Records, a beautifully orchestrated indie-folk album, exploring the hopeful place of new beginnings after a spiritual transition. 
 She studied Vocals at the Amsterdam University of the Arts. Inspired to experiment and collaborate in jazz and classical music, Donata founded various projects in Amsterdam, among others the band Nosoyo, who released two highly acclaimed albums. The indie-pop duo was awarded with the VUT-Award for Best Newcomer and Best Song and toured extensively through Europe with The Dø, Lola Marsh, AURORA, Jarryd James and more. 
 „Imaginary Land“ is Donata’s first solo album. The indie-folk album features beautiful chamber-pop arrangements and Americana influences and takes us on a transformative journey after a change into a reincarnation, creating a hopeful refuge where we can reinvent and recreate ourselves. 
 The album was created in a magical songwriting process against the backdrop of the stormy Dutch seashore. Donata co-produced "Imaginary Land" with Gunnar Örn Tynes of Icelandic band múm and collaborated with Jasja J. Offermans (bass) from the Dutch bands Indian Askin and Icelandic composer Viktor Orri Árnason (string arrangements and recordings).
