Ex·tra·po·la·tion n.- 1. The action of inferring something unknown from what is known. 2. An eclectic ragtag 7-piece band from the streets of Manila. 
 Extrapolation is an eclectic group of musicians on a quest to find the New Sound. Drawing on a myriad of influences ranging from funk, latin, electronica and hip-hop, they seek to create a fresh and exciting sound that transcends genre. After all, good music is just good music. 
 When it comes to sharing their music with the world, Extrapolation doesn’t discriminate- playing regularly in places like Saguijo, Tago Jazz Cafe, and Minokaua but also for larger events like the Malasimbo Music & Arts Festival and the Pinoy Playlist Music Festival. They’ve even had the pleasure of playing to audiences outside Manila, like the Bacolod Jazz Festival in Negros and the prestiguous SEVVA in Hong Kong. 
 Since winning the Wish Most Promising Artist of the Year award from the WISH Awards 2018 after the release of their first single, Sunshine Blue, they’ve kept a steady flow of new music despite the difficulties of the pandemic lockdown. Last December 2020 they released a 2-track EP, Ghost // Villain, under Offshore Records and are currently fresh off the heels of their latest release, aLIVE at Wild Grass Studios, which came out this August 2021.
