AWAKE OR SLEEPING has been the experimental indie-pop moniker of Joe Moralez since 2013, consistently delivering a stellar collection of studio recordings, many of which have been featured on various commercial campaigns around the world. In 2017, Awake or Sleeping teamed up with producers, Miguel Lara (Coldplay, Frank Ocean, Pearl Jam), Nicolas Blomberg and Davide Fant at their Los Angeles studio, Sound Chalet, to create his 6th studio release, Owls in the Night. Since 2013, Awake or Sleeping has worked alongside many Grammy award winning producers and engineers, including Steven Solomon (James Arthur, 5 Seconds of Summer, The Score), David Hodges (Blink-182, Christina Aguilera, Keith Urban), James Gabbie (Ed Kowalczyk, Goldspot), Benjamin Rice (Lady Gaga, Selena Gomez, Nick Jonas), Josh Hawkins (Mat Kearney, Super Duper) and many others to build what has become a growing catalog of sparkly commercial pop projects.
