Jamaican recording artiste Roy Thompson, better known as Bugle, a native of Portland, a lush picturesque parish situated on the eastern end of the island is a conscious Reggae crooner, performer and one of the genre's most prolific songwriters. Given the name Bugle by close friends due to his affinity for music, they believed it was only fitting he got a moniker from a musical instrument. His raspy voice, messages and heartfelt melodies are traits that perpetually resonates with the common folks, highlighting their trials and triumphs as they go about their daily endeavours. The aforementioned qualities have now forged the cornerstone of the respect and recognition he continues to enjoy across the globe with an even greater platform to provoke action for positive change.
