Miami-based hip-hop DJ E-Feezy started his career from scratch, falling in love with the turntables when he was barely a teenager. The Cleveland-born Feezy secured his first DJ gig at 12, spinning under the moniker Mach Six, before he made his radio debut at Cleveland's WENZ at the age of 14. From there, he moved south. While attending college at Alabama A&M and graduate school at the University of Alabama, he mixed for local Huntsville radio stations like WEUP and WHRP. He syndicated his radio show and reached an expanded audience, hitting markets across the American south. After graduation, he moved to Memphis and then to Louisville, where he became the youngest music director in the country at the time at WGZB. Earning a spot on the nationally syndicated Russ Parr in the Morning show, Feezy would later join with the Heavy Hitters DJ crew. Opportunities would lead him further south to Miami, where he established a number of club residencies and began promoting local hip-hop talent. 2015's The Wolf of South Beach featured a star-studded roster of guests like Lil Wayne, Juicy J, French Montana, Timbaland, Migos, Rich Homie Quan, Meek Mill, Jim Jones, Denzel Curry, 808 Mafia, and local Miami artists like Trina, Young Star, Super J, and Zoey Dollaz. A string of hit singles followed, most notably "Making Luv to the Beat" with Watch the Duck, "Shoutout" with Yo Gotti and Ace Hood, and "S.Y.U." with Plies, Trina, Super J, and Young Star. In 2017, Feezy issued the old-school, Luther Vandross-sampling "Got Me Crazy (No Better Love)" with K Michelle, Rick Ross, and Fabolous. ~ Neil Z. Yeung, Rovi
