muva of Earth is inspired by the act of evolution. Taking her cues from innovative sound travellers like Bjork, Nyokabi Kariuki, Alice Coltrane, Don Cherry, Cleo Sol, FKA Twigs, Yves Tumor and Sun Ra, her own path has been one of expansion and self-reflection. As a solo act and one half of DIVINEANGEL, she has poured her celestial sounds and provided meditative experiences across many stages around the UK and Europe, even receiving applause from cultural innovators Erykah Badu, Andre 3000 and Kamasi Washington. In a time where Earth and humanity are yearning for love and total replenishment, the soulstress returns with an empowering collection of affirmations and chants aligned with the intention to awaken and heal the heart-space. Their anticipated EP titled ‘align with Nature’s Intelligence’, pushes us to embrace the inner magic that arises when we express the unique parts of ourselves. The project is formed of her own compositional seeds that bloomed with the assistance of band members(upright bass, cello, piano, drums) guided by their classically-inspired vocals and harp. In order to birth this electrifyingly diverse project, muva of Earth had to surrender to life’s humbling teachings and free herself of doubt and fear. Inspired by the sentient elements of mother Earth, ‘align with Nature’s Intelligence’ takes us on an essential inward journey that enhances our appreciation for the sacred lands on which we reside.
