    Balthazar & JackRock’s techno story began back in 1996, in the capital of Bulgaria - Sofia. From DJing around the globe to running a 1500 people capacity venue and promoting their own festivals, Balthazar & JackRock have been deeply involved in electronic music scene for the past 22 years. In January 2006 Balthazar & JackRock released their debut vinyl record Rockin' Dancefloor on TechHead Recordings. The single reached number 1 in many sales charts and was played by many international DJs. A few weeks later Balthazar & JackRock released the top-selling record Moonshine on the Belgian label Magura, which was co-produced with their friend Kobbe. Moonshine was included in the official Dance Valley 2006 CD compilation and was presented in Judge Jules’ BBC 1 radio show.  2018 has been exciting for Balthazar & JackRock’s releases with 8 Top 100 Beatport techno tracks. They've remixed the legendary producer Emmanuel Top for the Dutch label Filth On Acid. At the end of the year DJ Mag charted their track “Rave Story” #33 in Best 50 tracks of 2018. Major highlight for 2019 was a collab track with Richie Hawtin for his audio - visual album CLOSE Colbined, released on his Plus 8 Recordings. That year Balthazar & JackRock had releases also on Terminal M, Filth On Acid, Suara, Kneaded Pains and Odd Recordings. 2020 was marked by long awaited debut on Drumcode, #4 Top 100 Techno for Nymph on Terminal M and a remix for Monika Kruse of her classic “Solid State”.
