Joker Out is the first young band to gain nationwide popularity in Slovenia in the last decade. Since their formation in 2016, they have brought about the revival of the live music scene, which has once again gained mass interest among the youth and sparked a new wave of young artists. The band consists of five members: Bojan (vocals), Kris (guitar), Jan (guitar), Nace (bass) and Jure (drums), who are all still in their twenties, the youngest being 23. Most of them met in Primary school where they attended the school band to compose and record the official school anthem. This made them realize they love creating their own original music and especially creating it together. With the lead singles of the band’s critically acclaimed debut studio album – Umazane Misli (Indecent notions), they took over the radio and streaming charts as well as all major concert stages across the country. This has brought them two consecutive Artist of the Year Awards in 2021 and 2022, a Song of the Year Award in 2021 and they even became the Bestselling Artist of 2022. With the creativity just oozing out of the band, even their non-stop touring in 2022 couldn’t stop them from writing and recording their second studio album - Demoni (Demons). After the National television decided to choose them as their representatives for ESC 2023 that only confirmed their ambition to pursue international recognition and are therefore already preparing an English album.
