Thành Luke is a singer-songwriter fronting rock trio Cá Hồi Hoang. Born and raised in Da Lat, Vietnam, he began his career in music after dropping out of university in his final year. When Thành was 14, he met his best friend and guitarist Thanh Minh. They had played together in a punk rock band named Dép Tổ Ong since early days of high school. The band broke up in 2013, following by several cover projects and small pub shows by Minh and Thành. The duo formed Cá Hồi Hoang later that year and went straight to work on their first album "Chương II", which were set to released in November 2014. Outside of Cá Hồi Hoang, Thành produced the first song of alternative band Gác Mái named "Họa Sĩ Bầu Trời", the self-titled EP of rock trio Thangca. In 2016, he released his solo album Qua Từng Nếp Nhăn, showcasing folk-influenced indie pop. In May 2020 Thành Luke released the second solo album "Gián Đoạn", featuring alternative-rock singles "Cùng" and "Rõ Ràng". He has described the record as a "new stream of creativity that rest up for the band (Cá Hồi Hoang)" and heavily inspired by Prince and Radiohead's frontman Thom Yorke.
