Born in a small farming town in Michigan, Dita Von Teese grew up fascinated by the Golden Age of Cinema and pin-up. This naturally blond, mid-western girl transformed herself into a glamour girl like those she admired. Performing burlesque since 1992, she is the biggest name in the biz since Gypsy Rose Lee, and is credited with bringing the art form back into the spotlight with a new sense of elegance and sophistication. In 2008, Dita teamed up with Sebastien Tellier, one of the most significant French artists of the last decade. Tellier is a modern dandy; an icon proved by his musical genius and his charismatic demeanor though an enigmatic, nonchalant style with a distinctive sense of fun. Her newest show GLAMONATRIX tours Dita’s newest revue “GLAMONATRIX” tours across Europe and the UK beginning in February 2022, with three nights at the historic Folies Bergère, a week at The London Palladium, plus a night at Opera Garnier in Monte Carlo..
