Career Achievements: Johnny Tillotson has 6 #1 international hits and hundreds of charted records worldwide. He has 10 top 10 hits, 16 top 40 Hits on the Billboard charts in the USA alone. He's charted 48 times on Billboard’s Pop, Country, Adult Contemporary charts. This accomplishment makes Johnny one of the top 100 recording artists of the Rock Era. Johnny is a 2 Time Grammy Nominee: 1962 - Best Country and Western Recording - “It Keeps Right On A Hurtin” , and 1965 - Best Contemporary Vocal Performance Male - “Heartaches By The Number.” Johnny is one of the forerunners in making Country Music popular in the Pop field and was one of the first cross over artists. His composition “It Keeps Right On A Hurtin' ” has been recorded by over 112 artists, including Elvis Presley, Dean Martin, Bobby Darin, Conway Twitty, Eddy Arnold, Billy Joe Royal, Hank Locklin, and many many more. He recorded in 5 Languages: English - Spanish - Italian - German - Japanese.
