Note-oriety is James Madison University's premier award winning upper voices a cappella group founded in 1998. Most recently, the ladies of Note-oriety released their ninth studio album, titled "Note to Self" in the Summer of 2020. For this album we received four CARA nominations including Best Upper Voices Collegiate Album, Best Professional Arrangement for a Scholastic Group for "Runaway", Best Upper Voices Collegiate Arrangement for Emma Wagners arrangement of "Dreams" and Best Upper Voices Collegiate Solo for Emma Wagners performance on "I Don't Think About You"! Additionally, we have released several music videos and virtual performances that can be found on our Youtube page. We hold auditions every fall and spring semester, and are always looking for new fresh voices to add to our sound!
