Fresh sound from the Spree: The Footprint Project is a ten-piece brass'n'beats combo from Berlin. Afrobeat, Neosoul, Jazz and Hip Hop are baked in the oven to a juicy groove mosaic. Drums, beatbox, bass, keys and guitars build a crisp foundation for sharp brasslines and soulful vocals. Originally started as an improvisation combo by friends, the band has made a name for itself locally and across Germany as a unique live band in its now seven-year history. The band has already released two albums in recent years, played many acclaimed live concerts at festivals and clubs, and toured with well-known artists such as Earth, Wind & Fire, among others. With "Garden Of Opinions", the Footprint Project is releasing its third and most complex album to date on 05/20/22. 12 songs full of ideas and emotions, written and produced during the pandemic. The band has noticeably developed its songwriting since its last album, yet has not forgotten its roots in combining different styles of music.
