Rie fu (pronounced ree-ay-fu) is a singer/songwriter, painter, and linguist. Having been a prolific songwriter since 2004, she has been constantly releasing new music for more than 15 years, also having performed around Asia and the UK. Many of her tracks attracted widespread recognition after being used in animations, including "Life Is Like a Boat" (Bleach), "I Wanna Go To A Place..." (Gundam SEED Destiny), and "Tsukiakari" (Darker Than Black). Her creative passion expands beyond music to painting, seen on the album cover designs, as well as the field of linguistics, ambitiously evolving as the cultural bridge associating music, art, and language.
