Raised on the mud banks of the Avon River in Nova Scotia, funeral director-turned-songwriter Terra Spencer has won over audiences since her 2018 solo debut with onstage wit, butterscotch voice, deft fingerstyle guitar, gospel piano, and ‘70s wood-paneled warmth. With three acclaimed full-length albums released in just four years, Terra is currently in production for her fourth release and will be touring with Canadian folk icon David Francey in late 2023. Her latest single, Say, is a tender waltz written and recorded with Don Brownrigg in two little cabins by the water.
